Parking:
- Attached are the parking guidelines
- We anticipate a very large turn out for Mini Meet. There will be NO parking at Meadow and VERY LIMITED parking on Valley Drive (only on one side of the street)
- We ask that you park legally in neighboring streets. Look for legal street parking along Martha Rd, Hillcrest Dr, Sally Ann Rd and Parkway Ct. Unfortunately, due to construction work at Glorietta Elementary School there will be no parking at the school this year.
- Martha Rd/Glorietta Elementary Walking Path:We strongly encourage meet participants to walk the pathway (between 19 Martha Rd and Glorietta Elementary); however, those that are unable to walk an unpaved trail with some hills, there are two shuttle stops near the school.
- Shuttle Stops: We will have shuttle drivers located on Martha Rd & Hillcrest Dr and on Glorietta Blvd near the lower playground entrance.
- Drop Off Area: there will be a drop off area in front of Meadow at Valley Drive and Heather Lane where people can drive up and drop off their swimmers and swim gear and then go back to park near Glorietta. Carpooling is encouraged.
- Limited reserved parking is available on Heather Lane for essential personnel, including Guest Coaches.
- Orinda Police will ticket illegally parked cars. Recently, cars have been ticketed for not curbing their wheels, parking in No Parking zones, and for parking in Fire Lanes.
- The cooperation and respect of your team members in following volunteer instructions and posted parking restrictions is greatly appreciated.
Slushies and More!
- 100% profits from Slushies sales supports Meadow and future Mini Meets.
- Who doesn’t love a trucker hat? Trucker hats with your Club name will be available for purchase.
- It wouldn’t be a swim meet without Mystify Me and her amazing tattoos.
- Typical swim meet fare will be available all day via our Meadow Cafe hosted and run by Fourth Bore.
- Loard’s Ice Cream will also be serving most of the day.
- Our hospitality team will offer water to those working on the deck.
Awards & ribbons:
- Please stick around after the meet! Our own Coach Kyle will award trophies to the First, Second and Third placed teams.
- We will place all ribbons in a paper bag per club which will be ready about 30 minutes post meet. Feel free to have a club volunteer wait for the bag before leaving Sunday or pick up the bag the following week out in front of our Meadow entry gate.
